These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Americain.org website ("the Site"). By browsing or otherwise interacting with the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

Americain.org is an editorial site that publishes general-knowledge articles about the United States — its institutions, culture, daily life, and practical questions for newcomers — written primarily in French, with an English mirror. The Site is independent and is not affiliated with any government, agency, or commercial organization.

You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you must not:

Third-party trademarks, names, and logos mentioned on the Site (for example government agencies, universities, or companies) belong to their respective owners. Mentioning them does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
5. Advertising
Some pages on the Site may display third-party advertising, including ads served via Google AdSense. The presence of an ad does not constitute an endorsement of the advertised product or service.
